Please accept my sincerest apologies for writing to you at such a late hour. I nevertheless wished to address you in order to convey the following.

Lately, I have been deliberately occupied with the rather noble endeavor of assembling bookshelves for my ever-growing collection of books. I must confess that I have been exceedingly satisfied with the effort I have undertaken and with the result that has followed. I sincerely hope that, upon seeing my work, you shall be able to appreciate it in much the same manner.

Furthermore, I have given considerable and careful thought to your most gracious proposal that we should delight in the pleasure of sharing a wonderful cup of coffee together. After thoroughly examining both my schedule and my present financial circumstances, I have come to the conclusion that we shall indeed have the opportunity to see one another in the near future.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I wish you a most peaceful and restful night. May you retire without troubling your thoughts with me, but rather with God, and may He bless you abundantly. Know that I shall keep you in my prayers.
